Write the Candidates
It is
important for candidates to hear from voters who believe it is time to bring all U.S. troops and private security forces home from
Iraq, as well as to commit the nation
to opposing wars of aggression. For
too long the U.S. has invested in the military at
the expense of the civilian economy. Spending as much as the whole world
combined on the military is not
making the U.S. safe and is undermining the
American economy.
Below you can send a letter to the
candidates for president of the United States. Voters who want to
reduce militarism and ultimately end war need to tell candidates their
views. If you like you can edit the letter or replace it with
one of your own.
